Stephanie is a NASM Nutrition Coach and Personal Trainer and a Certified Mindset Coach through HMCC. She believes in using a holistic approach for overall  wellness, including nutrition and movement. As a Masters level educator and Registered Nurse she incorporates her vast experiences in the health continuum to look at each person as an individual with unique needs. 

Stephanie, born and raised in the Northeast, currently resides in Nashville, TN with her husband, three daughters and dog, Slider. She enjoys running, hiking, reading and cooking.

I enjoyed my check-ins with Stephanie, as well as sending photos for feedback. She always held me accountable. I learned to be more patient and that results don't come overnight.  The more consistent I can be is the key, and I learned to be kind to myself. Overall, I feel more confident and in control of making better food choices everyday. I also think a lot less about food since I know what I have to do. Stephanie taught me to view everything in a different way so that I don't fall back into unsuccessful habits. We focused on the importance of a balanced plate and including protein. She also taught me that it is okay to eat carbohydrates! I view myself differently now. Stephanie encouraged me and made me feel heard. She was there for me through thick and thin. 

 

I have learned not to beat myself up if I go off course, which is the opposite of other programs I have done. My goals feel attainable, and I'm doing this for me this time. I can tell I'm getting stronger and I actually like strength training now. I had forgotten how to eat, and I didn't know how to focus on protein to fill me up. It's making me feel stronger and I am actually liking healthier foods. I am more confident and wearing shorts for the first time without feeling worried about how I look. I can see muscle definition in my legs and I love it. It was always about the numbers, but now I have a plan for overall wellness. 

 

After trying all the fad diets, I decided what I really needed was someone to teach me how to eat again! I had gotten so confused. Stephanie has done just that. I have learned to eat meals rather than on-the-go bars throughout the day. I eat fruit again. Color on my plate is a good and necessary thing. Protein heavy breakfast and lunches really will satiate and curb afternoon snack cravings. In just a few weeks my jeans fit like they should and I feel so much better and healthier. 

Group Coaching:

The Thrive program has been a life-changing experience for me. It has taught me so much about living a healthy, balanced lifestyle--physically, emotionally, and mentally. It's not about dieting, or sacrificing--I have learned strategies that enable me to eat ALL the foods I love, which I NEVER dreamed would be an option, when I signed up to join Thrive. This program is much easier, and infinitely more rewarding than I ever imagined.
